Activities in Acapulco
Acapulco has all year round near perfect weather! One of the most popular tourist destinations in the world located off the Pacific coast of Mexico, Acapulco is famous for its mesmerizing nightlife, postcard beaches, unlimited water-sports, first-class hotels, gourmet restaurants and the breathtaking physical beauty of Acapulco Bay!
 
Golf: Five championship golf courses (15 minutes away). Enjoy a game of golf on one of the most exclusive golf courses in Latin America. With five greens on the waterfront, and 5 km of private beach, Tres Vidas in undoubtedly the most prestigious course in Acapulco. Golf Courses are also located at the Fairmont Princess Hotel, the Mayan Palace and a 9 hole course at the Club de Golf in Town.
 
Ocean Activities: The beach is less than a 10 minute drive from Las Brisas. There are abundant opportunities for sailing, wind surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, & deep-sea fishing. The fishing in Acapulco, particularly sailfish, is legendary. Acapulco is the ideal place for water skiing. Whether it is in fresh water, in the Coyuca lagoon, or in the salt water of Acapulco bay, this is one of the best places in the world to water-ski.
 
Tennis: There are several tennis courts in the Las Brisas Area.  Many of the hotels have their own private courts.  A few of the hotels allow visitors to rent the courts.   The Mayan Palace (located to the south of Acapulco at Acapulco Diamante) has a modern tennis facility with 13 courts with lessons, showers and all the good stuff usually offered in upscale clubs.  The Park Hotel in the heart of the tourist zone is one of the hotels that has reasonable rates for non-guests.  Club de Tennis Panoramic is a charming little tennis club, located in the hills above Playa Condesa, with two very well kept clay courts.
 
Water Parks: CICI is a water park that offers the opportunity of interacting with dolphins. It is conveniently located on Acapulco's main strip on the bay side.
 
Shopping: Acapulco has shopping malls, boutiques and market places, perfect for buying gifts, souvenirs and some fashionable resort wear as well. A myriad of handicrafts, ranging from hand-woven cotton shawls or "sarapes", a treasure of silver pieces, brightly hand-painted ceramic work, to exquisite hand-made leather items can be found in shops up and down Acapulco's main strip.
 
Fabulous night life: Restaurants, Discos, Bars, Music-Video Lounges. In Acapulco you have the day life and then the night life, which last ALL night.
 
There is the more traditional tourist attractions such as La Quebrada cliff divers and The Zocalo. Acapulco's center is located in the Golden Zone, Zona Dorada along the main street, Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán, known locally as just "The Costera". Most of Acapulco’s major attractions are either on or very close to this busy street and there is no shortage of entertaining activities including waters sports, fishing, golf, tennis, shopping, restaurants and of course nightlife. Las Brisas is located between the Acapulco bay's Zona Dorada and the newer development in Acapulco Diamante towards The Princess Hotel, with it's ocean beaches and great golf courses.
